Alysson Fergison

Alysson Fergison began her SEO career with the largest website design and marketing agency in the US for small & medium-sized businesses. She eventually became the company’s only in-house SEO specialist, providing advanced SEO consultation to clients and internal SEO training for the customer care, website design and marketing departments. With tens of thousands of customers and only one in-house SEO, education and training were among Alysson’s primary responsibilities.

While still working as an agency SEO, Alysson started a not-for-profit, informational blog – appropriately named “SEOAly”. That moniker stuck and not long after it began to gain some brand recognition in search marketing circles. After being recruited for and accepting a position as the SEO for a local software company, Alysson decided to shift the focus of “SEOAly” from a not-for-profit endeavor to a freelance enterprise providing SEO audit & keyword research services exclusively for small businesses.

Since then, “SEOAly” has evolved to include a wider array of services that cater to the needs of small business owners. While still offering SEO audits, keyword research and SEO consultation, Alysson’s primary focus these days combines her strong design background with her expertise in SEO to provide affordable small business website design services.

Her goal as a WordPress designer is to provide small businesses with a solid online foundation by taking advantage of the flexibility and search engine friendliness that WordPress is known for while keeping in mind that small businesses shouldn’t have to spend a fortune to have a great website.
